• JPC Strategic Plan 2018 - 2023

  • Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire.  All surveys are anonymous and treated confidentially.

Your comments and suggestions are important in developing the next 6-year plan for the Joint Policing Committee, which is due to be finalised by December 2017.

Joint Policing Committees (JPCs) aim to develop greater consultation, cooperation and synergy on policing and crime issues between An Garda Síochána, Local Authorities and elected local representatives. JPCs also facilitate the participation of the community and voluntary sectors in this regard. (http://www.garda.ie)

This Strategic Plan aims to identify priority areas of need for local areas about community policing, personal, public and road safety and crime prevention and awareness.
These headings have been identified by communities as representing the main categories for actions and initiatives to be developed between the community and the Joint Policing Committee over the next six years.

Please complete this form by 5pm, Friday 21st July 2017.

A hard copy of this questionnaire is available at the Council offices in Waterford City and Dungarvan if you would prefer to complete the survey in this way - the deadline for completion and return is also Friday 21st July 2017 by 5 pm.  It is also available to download from our website.
