Oifig na Gaeilge

Placeholder imageSix miles west of Dungarvan and overlooking Dungarvan Harbour and Muggort’s Bay lies the small coastal Gaeltacht of County Waterford, consisting of the parishes of An Rinn and An Sean Phobal. The word 'Gaeltacht' signifies an area where the Irish language is still spoken as the main community language. Co. Tá Gaeltacht na nDéise ar cheann des na Gaeltachtaí is lú sa tír. Siad An Rinn agus an Sean Phobal an dá thaobh den pharóiste, le pobal breá, bríomhar Gaeltachta. Tá timpeall 1,500 duine ag maireachtaint i nGaeltacht na nDéise, agus cáil ar an áit don Ghaeilge, don cheol agus don amhránaíocht traidisiúnta, a thugann beocht ar leith don dúthaigh álainn seo.
