Comhfhiontar is ea ‘Gradam Gnó na nDéise’idir Oifig Ghaeilge Chomhairle Cathrach & Contae Phort Láirge agus Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise i nGaeltacht na nDéise, le tacaíocht ó Ghlór na nGael. Tá sé mar aidhm leis an scéim gnónna a ghríosadh chun an Ghaeilge a úsáid mar uirlis mhargaíochta agus ghnó, trí bhuntáistí eacnamaíocha agus chultúrtha na Gaeilge a chur in iúl dóibh. Bronntar duaiseanna i gcatagóirí éagsúla, de bharr urraíocht fhlaithiúil ár n-urraitheoirí éagsúla.
The Irish in Business/Gradam Gnó na nDéise awards scheme recognises businesses in Waterford City & County that develop and use the Irish language as part of their business dealings. It is a joint initiative between the Irish Office of Waterford City & County Council and local Gaeltacht community development company, Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise, with the support of Irish language lead organisation, Glór na nGael.
Gradam Gnó na nDéise is intended to encourage businesses to use the Irish language as a marketing and business tool, through raising awareness of the economic and cultural benefits of promotion and usage of Irish. Prizes are awarded in various categories (such as signage and printed materials and service and innovation), thanks to the generous support of our Category Sponsors.
A business can enter itself for consideration for an Award, or another company or a customer can nominate a business. Entrants can work on the further development of the Irish language in their businesses with support from Comhlucht Forbartha na nDéise, Waterford City & County Council and Glór na nGael.
